Getting there :
By Air;
Bangkok Airways (PG) and Thai Airways (TG) have direct flights to Samui from Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore. Budget airline Air Asia has flights from Bangkok to Surrathani.


By Bus;
The trip from Bangkok's New Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai Taling Cham) takes about 10-12 hours with the air conditioned VIP buses. Buses also leave from Kao San road, organized by private travel and tour agencies. Several ferries service to connect the island with the mainland.

By Train;
From the railway station in Bangkok, a train service heads south to Suratthani. Joint tickets including train and ferry to Samui are available in the train station and privatetravel agencies.
